We live hard times but wanted to share some joy from Finland. My wife Anna picked up a dog named Wapi from your shelter in 2007. Wapi was 4 to 4,5 years old at that time. Peter was the contact person. We renamed Wapi with Spanish name Fausto. Fausto is a super smart little dog and always wants to be involved in everything. He has never been very interested in going for walks but he loves the sun and sunbathing, something that must be from his Spanish roots, and always keeping an eye on our garden too. Last weekend we celebrated Fausto’s 17th birthday, since we got him on Easter 2007. He has been the best friend to us and there couldn’t have been a better dog for us, so thank you for your important work with animals.
